Mission Statement

"The mission of C. F. Vigor High School

is to utilize effective instructional strategies,

in a setting that is conducive to learning,

in order to produce literate, ethical,

and responsible citizens

who will meet the challenges of the future."

Uniform Policy

Shirts-male/female:  Freshman and sophomores will be required to wear a solid white golf-style or button down dress shirt.  Juniors and seniors will be required to wear a hunter green golf-style or button down dress shirt.

Pants-male/female:  Pants must be khaki in color and the material must be cotton twill.  Pants must be full length and cannot be worn rolled up or folded to a shorter length.  All pants must be worn around the natural waistline.  Oversized pants are not acceptable.  (No green or gray denim, corduroys, or cargo pants.)

Shoes-male/female:  Shoes must be black oxford, loafer or gym style.  (no backless shoes or sandals allowed.)

Socks:  Socks must be white or black.

Belts-male/female:  Belts must be black or brown.  Belts must be worn at all time.

Skorts/Skirts-female:  Skorts/skirts must be khaki or approved plaid.  (Skort style must have a flap in the front and back.)

Jackets-Male/female:  No hooded jackets will be allowed.  Jackets must be lightweight nylon in solid hunter green.  Absolutely no starter style jackets with college/professional team logos will be allowed.  Vigor sport jackets are allowed as well as approved VHS athletic or organization jackets.  Additional outer garments may be worn but must be removed immediately upon entering the building and stored in lockers.  Heavy coats should be dark brown, black, or dark grey in color in cotton, wool, or leather.

Sweaters/Sweatshirts-male/female: Colors- black or green  Sweaters/sweatshirts must be solid black (no sweatshirts with hoods).  Sweaters/sweatshirts must be worn over the uniform shirts and blouses.  The uniform shirt and blouse collars must be visible.  Sweatshirts and sweaters are not acceptable substitutes for a uniform shirt or blouse.  A solid hunter green sweatshirt , sweater, or blazer is optional.

All students at Vigor High School must wear uniforms effective the first day of school
